Karnal, February 5

Asserting that the youth of the state were under stress due to unemployment, AAP senior vice-president Anurag Dhanda today said that the party had raised the issue on various platforms, but the Khattar government was not paying heed to it.

Addressing mediapersons at the party’s district office, Dhanda said around two lakh posts in government offices were lying vacant. “The AAP will gherao the CM’s residence on February 7 on this issue,” he said, adding that AAP leaders would hold press conferences at all district headquarters to highlight the issue on February 8 and protests would be held on February 9.

He said the Chief Minister had promised to provide 50,000 government jobs through the official platform on January 6.

“If the government has given even 1,000 jobs in the last one year, the BJP should make the list public, else the CM should apologise to the public,” he said, inviting all unemployed youth of Haryana to stage a demonstration in Karnal.
