Shimla, February 21

BJP national president JP Nadda will inaugurate high-tech radiotherapy machines at AIIMS-Bilaspur in the presence of Union Minister for Power and New and Renewal Energy Raj Kumar Singh, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya and Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur on February 23.

The state-of-the-art machines that will be inaugurated include a High Energy Linear accelerator, HDR Brachytherapy and a 4D CT Simulator. A Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) Plant will also be inaugurated which will equip the institute with round-the-clock oxygen supply at patients’ bedside.

Besides, a Vishram Sadan, with a capacity to accommodate 354 people, will be constructed in aroiund 18 months. It will provide shelter to the needy people and visitors accompanying patients from biting cold, harsh summer and incessant rain during the monsoon.
