New Delhi, April 29

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday asked minister Atishi to ensure there is no water shortage in the capital, said AAP sources.

Sunita Kejriwal and Atishi met Kejriwal in Tihar jail.

Sources said Kejriwal told Atishi that there should be no shortage of water in the capital and everyone should continue to receive medicine.

They said Kejriwal would soon roll out the scheme, 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana' under which every woman in Delhi would receive Rs 1,000 per month.

The scheme will include women who are above 18, who are not beneficiaries of any central/state government pension scheme and who are not employees of central/state governments.
