Hoshiarpur, February 6

The Congress does not have any religious agenda, its goal is to strengthen the country economically and remove unemployment. Party in-charge of Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha constituency Rana Gurjit Singh said this while addressing media persons at the district Congress office on Monday. He said that he had reached Hoshiarpur today to mobilise Congress workers in connection with the visit of party president Mallikarjun Kharge to Samrala on February 11.

In response to a question about Navjot Sidhu’s recent comment of ‘Majboor Congress’, he said that the Congress would continue to remain strong. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party had lost its support base and was betraying the people by not fulfilling the promises made to them.

MLA Rana Gurjit Singh said that the rally of February 11 will blow the poll bugle in Punjab and the entire Congress will unite and prepare for the Lok Sabha elections. Congress district president Arun Kumar Mickey Dogra, former MLA Pawan Kumar Adiya, former MLA Indu Bala, advocate Gurbir Singh Chautala, Rajneesh Tandon etc were also present on the occasion.
