The Health Ministry should act against yoga guru Ramdev as “he has misled people by making statements against allopathy”, the IMA said.
Ramdev should be prosecuted under the Epidemic Diseases Act, the IMA said. Citing a video on social media, the IMA said Ramdev was seen saying “allopathy ek stupid aur diwalilya science hai”. Patanjali Trust denied the charges, saying Ramdev has “utmost regard” for doctors. — PTI/TNS
