AIADMK threat to withdraw support
NEW DELHI, April 1 — The AIADMK today threatened to immediately withdraw support to the Vajpayee government, if the Prime Minister approved of his Cabinet colleague R. Kumaramangalam's criticism of its leader, J. Jayalalitha, on the Bhagwat issue and even hinted at forging an alternative alliance with the Congress.

PANAJI, April 1 — Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee today said the pension of sacked Navy Chief Admiral Vishnu Bhagwat would not be stopped.
