Residents flee as shelling intensifies
SRINAGAR, Aug 4 — The Pakistan forces intensified shelling in the Kargil and Batalik sectors targeting civilian areas and forcing people who had returned home to again move to safer places. No loss of life was reported but public and private property was destroyed in the heavy shelling which began last night, an official spokesman said today.

‘Censors don’t know films’

NEW DELHI, Aug 4 — Renowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, who is determined not to release his film ‘Elizabeth’ till it is cleared without cuts, today described as "horrifying" a remark by censor chief Asha Parekh that ‘most of the film has been left untouched’.

New telecom policy: Operators accept HC's terms
