suspects in the antique sword case, today surrendered to
a city court to cooperate with the police in the

electrocution, an old lady reportedly died after
coming into contact with a live electricity wire
in Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26, this morning.

CHANDIGARH,
Aug 12 The Punjab and Haryana High court today
granted bail to C.J. Rai, Superintending Engineer with
the Punjab State Electricity Board who was earlier on
deputation with the Chandigarh Administration as
Executive Engineer and booked in FIR no 1 of 1999 by the
UT Vigilance Department.

body unhappy with police

9 are unhappy over the way the police has handled an
alleged cheating case in which the suspect, Sohan Lal,
was apprehended by the members and handed over to the

to temple remains
