| Dissident's rally SEOUL, Aug 12 (AFP) Thousands of riot police took to the streets of South Korea's capital today to prevent dissidents and radical students holding an unauthorised rally backed by North Korea. The massive show of force came a day before the opening of what dissidents called a "pro-unification" festival to be held simultaneously in South and North Korea. The festival is to end with a gathering in Panmunjom on Sunday to mark Korea's liberation from Japanese 1910 to 1945 colonial rule. BSP
