Sonia grills Badal for poor growth
Kicks off campaign in Punjab, Haryana
LUDHIANA, Aug 25 — The Congress President, Mrs Sonia Gandhi, today attacked the Badal government for "failing to carry out any developmental activities in Punjab even though the SAD was a partner in the government at the Centre".

NEW DELHI, Aug 25 — Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda today ruled out any understanding between the Janata Dal (Secular) and the Congress in the coming elections in Karnataka and indicated he would campaign against Congress president Sonia Gandhi in Bellary.
