Khurana is BJP Vice-President

NEW DELHI, Dec 24 — Mr Ratan Lal Kataria, MP from Ambala, and Mr Chintaman Vanga from Maharashtra were today appointed all-India Secretaries of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today.

Also, a former Union Minister, Mr Madan Lal Khurana’s, name figures among the three new Vice-Presidents of the BJP appointed by the party President, Mr Kushabhau Thakre today.

Apart from Mr Khurana, the former President of the Rajasthan BJP unit and Rajya Sabha MP, Mr Ramdas Agarwal, and Lok Sabha member from Gujarat, Ms Bhavna Ben Chikalia have also been appointed Vice-Presidents.

The appointments were made to fill the vacancies caused by the induction of two earlier Vice-Presidents in the Union Cabinet and the death of Krishan Lal Sharma last week.
