SGPC cancels 100 appointments

AMRITSAR, March 29 — In an apparent bid to woo the employees, the SGPC executive committee today granted three promotions to all employees. They also cancelled 100 appointments made by the Tohra camp.

This decision was taken in view of the tercentenary celebrations of the Khalsa Panth. The meeting which will continue tomorrow also, however, could not take any decision regarding the dismissal of the suspended Jathedar Bhai Ranjit Singh.
