Resignations in favour of trio
PUNE, May 21 — Within hours of his expulsion from the Congress, Mr Sharad Pawar today announced that a "new viable alternative front, comprising parties and people with the Congress line of thinking" would emerge in a week. The proposed political combine, however, would not have the "Congress draw- backs", he told mediapersons.

ROHTAK, May 21 — Mr Mahender Chaudhary, who was sworn is as the Prime Minister of Fiji on May 19, hails from Bahu-Jamalpur village, 7 km from here.
