NEW DELHI, Oct 21 — Trucks almost all over the country came to a grinding halt as transporters led by the All-India Motor Transport Congress "indefinitely suspended operations" from six this morning demanding roll-back of diesel prices after talks with the government failed to make headway.

NEW DELHI, Oct 21 — The Union Cabinet tonight approved the long-awaited legislations to replace the draconian Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, cyberlaws, telecom bailout package and amendment to Securities Act to allow derivatives trading in stock exchanges.
