A prayer

Dear God, we thank you for today,

Walk with us all the day.

Keep us secure from all the fear,

No evil should come near.

Take care of our eyes and chirping lips

Keep us safe and away from slips.

Help us to love and forgive the foe,

To root out hatred, and love to sow.

Let our footsteps never go astray,

Lest we forget the blissful way.

Whenever any calamity or trouble befall,

Help us to stand firm, never to fall.

Help us to be honest in our dealings,

Holy and pure in our feelings.

No bad word should ever come from heart,

There shouldn’t be any mistake on our part.

Nature

Nature is the mother of all,

And is as sweet as a doll.

No one can describe the beauty of nature,

And it cannot be compared to any creature.

Man depends on nature for his life,

But is destroying it rapidly with time.

By pollution the beauty of nature is lost,

But man is not stopping it at any cost.

Man cuts down trees in a trice,

Without knowing that they are the keys to his life.

Nature is requesting us to protect it,

And not to destroy it.

So, listen to the cry of nature,

And know that it is in great danger.

What is love?

Love is a feeling that gives pleasure,

Which never ends, it is that treasure.

Love is when we like the person as such,

When we want to give, but don’t expect much.

Love is in sharing joys and sorrows,

Distance between two souls, it narrows.

Love is walking together on the same way,

It brightens every moment of each day.

Love is everlasting, it never ends,

Message of peace, to everyone, it sends.

Love is an unselfish involvement,

It is a lifelong commitment!
