  Caught off-guard By K.V. Prasad
 IT
was an ordeal the like of which has not been seen by the
country before. And one hopes it would never experience
again. Ever since the Indian Airlines IC-814
Kathmandu-Delhi flight was diverted by air pirates on
December 24, the nation was hooked on to the crisis that
ended, eight days later, on December 31.
