        including imposition of President’s rule in West Bengal, where the
        situation was worse than in Bihar as the whole structure of the
        Constitution was under attack”. Defence Minister George Fernandes, who
        submitted his report on the situation in West Bengal to Union Home
        Minister L.K. Advani today said, the entire constitutional structure in
        the state was “under danger” and there was a serious threat to the

        Kharar accidentKHARAR, Sept 10 — In a
        major road mishap, at least 10 persons died and another 40 persons were
        injured in a collision among four vehicles, including two buses, on the
        Kharar-Morinda highway near Rurki Pukhta village near here late this
        evening. Of the 40 injured, around 25 persons, who were in a serious
        condition, were rushed to the PGI, Chandigarh and another nine were
        admitted to the Civil Hospital, here.

          of poppy husk smuggling died at the local Civil Hospital at 12.30 a.m.
