Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have been reported at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: west Uttar Pradesh: Moradabad 2 and Uttaranchal: Dehra Dun 3.

Forecast valid until the morning of October 2: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 2: Partly cloudy sky with light rain or thundershowers in some areas. No significant change in maximum and minimum temperatures.
