persists New Delhi, October 7 Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature recorded in the region was 41°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan). Past 24 hours change:
