Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change in maximum temperatures: Maximum temperatures changed little.

Departures: They were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.8°C recorded at Barmer.

Past 24 hours change in minimum temperatures: Minimum temperatures changed little.

Departures: They were appreciably below normal in Punjab, below normal in west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.0°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
