I am an Indian doll

My hair is black

And teeth very white.

Eyes dark brown,

Roll up and down.

My skin is silky,

Voice honey and milky.

When kids see me.

They wanna play with me.

I gave joy to all,

I am an Indian doll

Say no to polybags

Scattered here, there and everywhere,

On streets, roads and thoroughfare,

Red, green, yellow, blue and pink,

What is this article you think?

Oh, it’s bag of polythene.

Which makes our environment unclean.

It gets into the gutter,

Chokes the sewerage-line to overflow the gutter.

Burnt polybags cause air pollution,

To get rid of it there is no easy solution.

Let’s pledge and use alternatives,

And say no to polythene,

Thus help to keep our city and surroundings

Clean and green.

Cricket vs exams

Examination is a cricket match

Candidate the batsman

Question paper is the bowler

Examiner an umpire

Supervisor is the leg umpire

Table is the pitch

Marksheet the scorecard

Question is an over

Confusing question a googly

To solve the question instantly is a sixer

Distinction of course, is a century

To be caught copying someone is a catchout

To be caught with a chit-in-hand a run out

To give a blank answer sheet is clean bowled

To fail is to lose, to pass a win

Re-examination is a follow-on

Still no success, an innings defeat !
