J&K New Delhi, October 21 Temperatures: Past 24 hours change:
Maximum temperatures fell in west Uttar Pradesh and changed little
elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and
Kashmir and east Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh,
west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region.
The highest temperature in the region was 38.3°C recorded at Barmer
and Churu (Rajasthan). Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures
rose in Punjab and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were
above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the
region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 15°C recorded at
Hindon and Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh). Forecast valid until the morning
of October 23: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and
Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of
October 23: Hazy sky. Mist in the morning. Maximum and minimum
temperatures will be around 34°C and 16°C respectively. |
