Global health card

Ludhiana, October 25
The Global Health Care Systems has launched a Global Health Card. Two family members will be covered for Rs 750 and the cards issued will be valid for two years.

According to a press note, the card was launched by Dr Gursharan Singh, President of the local unit of the Indian Medical Association during the CII exhibition at Punjab Agricultural University. The card holder will get concessions from 10 per cent to 50 per cent in various investigations as well as therapeutic procedures. The hospitals include 40 centres in Ludhiana and over 200 in the entire state. The card holder will get other benefits like accidental insurance of Rs 1 lakh online medical help, health magazine the latest medical update and global health souvenirs.

Dr Gursharan Singh said “the card will be helpful to the poor patients in the state as they can get a good health care by spending a very nominal amount”.

The others present on the occasion were Dr Anil Sethi, Joint Secretary, IMA, Punjab and Dr Anurag Goswami, press secretary, IMA.
