Marginal hike in petrol, diesel,
LPG prices New Delhi, November 9 Petroleum Minister Ram Naik approved the increase in dealers’ commission on petrol by 13.5 paise per litre and on diesel by 8.8 paise per litre. The distributors commission on domestic LPG has also been increased by Rs 1.02 per cylinder. These changes would be effective from midnight. For petrol, the commission has been increased from 47.8 paise per litre to 61.3 paise per litre, for diesel from 27.7 paise to 36.5 paise per litre and for LPG from 14.53 paise per cylinder to 15.55 paise. After the increase in the dealers' commission, the retail selling price of petrol in Delhi will go up to Rs 28.94 per litre while that of diesel would increase to Rs 17.18 per litre. Domestic LPG will now cost Rs 223.30 per cylinder instead of the existing Rs 222.27 in Delhi. Petrol in Mumbai will now cost Rs 31.90 per litre, Rs 30.67 per litre in Chennai and Rs 29.21 per litre in Kolkata. Similarly, diesel will now cost Rs 20.79 per litre in Mumbai, Rs 18.65 in Chennai and Rs 17.54 in Kolkata. Domestic LPG will be priced at Rs 226.70 per cylinder in Mumbai, Rs 229.70 per cylinder in Chennai and Rs 246.65 per cylinder in Kolkata. |
