Disparaging
(dis-par’ ajing) — suggesting, especially unfairly, that somebody or something is of little importance.

Synonyms — belittling, contemptuous.

Antonyms — appreciative, approving, favourable, complimentary.

Penury (pennewr-i) — extreme poverty.

Synonyms — beggary, destitution.

Antonyms — affluence, comfort, luxury, opulence.
