BSNL for delay Ludhiana, November 10 According to complaint, Mr Rajesh Seghal had applied for the shifting of his telephone (498031) to his residence at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, in December 1999. Representative of the consumer, Mr S.D. Nagpal, said Mr Seghal had been approaching BSNL officials for shifting the telephone since December, 1999, but no action was taken. Mr Nagpal said the Commercial Section of the BSNL had issued a letter to SDOT concerned on February 22, 2001 to submit the genuineness and feasibility report for shifting the telephone, but nothing came out of that. Mr Nagpal said that was a clear deficiency in services on part of the BSNL as it took so much time to do such a minor job. The BSNL pleaded that the telephone connection of the complainant, had already been shifted to new the address of the complainant on April 30 with the new telephone number 816239. The respondent stated that the commercial section had issued advice note on April 4, for shifting the said telephone connection which was received by the SDO on April 21, and the same was sent to JTO, Ludhiana, on April 27. The BSNL further stated that the telephone was changed on April 30, 2001. Bacardi blast
a raging hit Ludhiana, November 10 The party lovers
came into their true colours when their favourite DJ Bhanu presented
some of his favourite tunes. Familiar with the pulse of Ludhiana
crowd, Bhanu played fabulous Punjabi numbers to make the party
atmosphere more lively. Bhanu’s numbers included latest Hindi and
Punjabi numbers The girls dressed in their western outfits simply
looked gorgeous and charming. The entry was strictly for couples. Boys
had to face a tough time to reach the venue. The evening was
electrifying. DJ Ivan and VJ Nikhil enthralled the crowd and swayed
the party hoppers to the pulsating beats of the blasting music. The DJ
from Mumbai played music records on a turntable and his one record had
four variations of the same song. Keeping in view the mood of the
public, Ivan played different versions. The crowd not only danced but
jumped to his latest numbers. Shamita, a dance lover, said that such
parties had become a routine in the city .“Its good fun time. At
least Ludhianvis can go somewhere and enjoy now. Otherwise life was
boring. We wait for such parties to happen”. The DJ rightly felt
the mood of the participants and tried to present something new
everytime. The couples, young and old, took to the dance floor with
gusto and danced merrily for over four hours. The party lovers,
specially the young crowd, just refused to leave the dance floor and
