Jagmohan gets Culture
New Delhi, November 18
Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee tonight changed the portfolios of Mrs Maneka Gandhi and Mr Jagmohan. Mrs Gandhi will be in charge of the Statistics and Programme Implementation Ministry, which was with Mr Jagmohan, the Tourism Minister. Mr Jagmohan gets the additional charge of Culture, a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesman said tonight. PTI

12 peacocks killed
Morena (MP), November 18
About 12 peacocks were killed by hunters near Bagiapura village here. The police recovered five dead peacocks and a wounded one from the spot. Police sources said the suspects, Naresh, Suresh, Prakash and Banvari, had absconded after committing the crime yesterday. UNI

Monk dies in blast
Colombo, November 18
A senior Buddhist monk was killed and three others seriously wounded when a powerful claymore mine blew up their vehicle at Kebethigollewa in the Anuradhapura district this morning. UNI
