UpnP:
Short for Universal Plug and Play, a networking architecture that
provides compatibility among networking equipment, software and
peripherals of the 400+ vendors that are part of the Universal Plug
and Play Forum. UPnP works with wired or wireless networks and can be
supported on any operating system. UPnP boasts device-driver
independence and zero-configuration networking.
BlackBerry:
BlackBerry is a line of mobile e-mail devices and services from
Research In Motion (RIM). BlackBerry is a complete package that
includes airtime, software and choice of BlackBerry mobile device.
BlackBerry is currently available in the USA, Canada and the United
Kingdom.
Infrastructure mode:
An 802.11 networking framework in which devices communicate with each
other by first going through an Access Point (AP). In infrastructure
mode, wireless devices can communicate with each other or can
communicate with a wired network.
