14-year-old cooks up kidnap tale

'Say no to Shahtoosh'

Ludhiana, December 5 Opposing the wearing of Shahtoosh shawls, which are prepared from the wool of an endangered animal called 'Chiru', also known as theTibetan Antelope, the Wildlife Trust of India has stated that those who manufactured such shawls misled people by saying that they collected the wool shed by the animal when it grazes amid bushes and rocks in hilly areas. Chirus, the endangered species of antelope found in Tibet, which is killed in large numbers for making shahtoosh shawls.
