Laloo appears in CBI court

Patna, December 6
Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Laloo Prasad Yadav was today produced before the court of designated CBI judge S.K. Mishra in connection with examination of a witness in a disproportionate assets case, an offshoot of the multi-crore fodder scam.

The witness to be examined was V.S.K. Kaumadi, former Superintendent of Police, CBI, Patna, who is at present posted as Joint Commissioner, Security, Hyderabad.

Laloo Yadav, who has ‘Z’ Plus security, was driven to the court from Beur Jail in a bullet-proof car escorted by the police. The RJD chief had arrived at the jail on December 3 on judicial remand from Ranchi.

Chief Minister Rabri Devi is a co-accused in the case. PTI
