Seminar on role of police, lawyers Ludhiana, December 8 A large number senior advocates and police officials exchanged ideas and gave suggestions to improve the working of the judicial system by working on their job honestly. The seminar was presided over by the president of District Bar Association, Mr Harish Rai Dhanda while the chief guest was, Inspector-General of Police (Commando Wing), Mr A.P. Pandey. Others present on the occasion were the District and Session Judge, Mr A.K. Sharma, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ludhiana Range, Mr Suresh Arora. While speaking during this seminar, Mr A.P. Pandey said, “Because of some indisciplined police officials and advocates, some people get a chance to criticise us.” |
