Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 5.2C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 12: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 12: Sunny day. Mainly clear sky. Mist/fog during night/morning. Minimum temperature will be around 9C.
