Prithvi test-fired successfully
Balasore (Orissa), December 12
The surface-to-surface extended range version of the indigenous Prithvi missile was successfully test-fired today from the interim test range (ITR) at Chandipur-on-Sea, about 15 km from here. ITR sources said Prithvi, one of five missiles developed under the integrated guided missile development programme of the DRDO blasted off from a 8.8 tatra transporter erecter launcher at 10.40 a.m. UNI
