XP or Extreme
Programming: A discipline of software development that follows a
specific structure that is designed to simplify and expedite the
process of developing new software. Kent Beck developed Extreme
Programming to be used with small teams of developers who need to
develop software quickly in an environment of rapidly-changing
requirements.
Grid computing:
A form of networking. Unlike conventional networks that focus on
communication among devices, grid computing harnesses unused
processing cycles of all computers in a network for solving problems
too intensive for any stand-alone machine.
SEO: Short for search engine
optimisation, the process of increasing the amount of visitors to a
Web site by ranking high in the search results of a search engine. The
higher a Web site ranks in the results of a search, the greater the
chance that that site will be visited by a user.
