Windy: Very funny, and for your kind information I have fulfilled most of them. Cliparti: Hey Fluppy! You were telling us how we would be celebrating the New Year. How about my celebrations? Fluppy: As usual, you will spoil your time watching all those silly, mindless and boring New Year programs. Cliparti: Hmmm, here you have been proved wrong again. It was till the last year that I watched TV programs, but like this is a new year so I have new programs too. Fluppy: That's great. What are your programs then? Cliparti: Oh! We have a New Year party at home, where all our relatives and friends join us. And you know what, this time, we are using the computers and Internet also in our New Year celebrations. Windy: Oh that's great. But how? Cliparti: We are actually using the computers and the Internet to connect with all relatives and friends spread over India and abroad and through software like Yahoo! messenger and with net meeting we will be joint. Windy: That's a wonderful idea. Fluppy: So, does that mean that nobody would be coming to your place and the whole thing would be on the Internet. Cliparti: No honey, there is a small party at my place where we will be joined by our relatives and friends located nearby. But, there are similar parties at the end of our other relatives who would not be able to come to our place due to distances. They will be joined by the Internet. So, that way I will be joining numerous parties on the New Year's Eve. Fluppy: That is really a great idea. Why didn't you tell it before? Cliparti: It is not late as yet as you can call all your friends and relatives located at distant place and ask them to come online in the evening using software like Yahoo! messenger and Net meeting. Once they come online, you can see them through their web camera. The option of seeing the Web camera is available in both these software. Oh I forgot to tell you this, that for enabling video conferencing you will need a Web camera or a digital camera. These cameras are available at a small price in the market and cost much lesser than throwing a New Year party. Windy: You have certainly given us a nice idea to celebrate the New Year, Cliparti. We will also work out similar arrangements at our place. Fluppy: That will be fun and this way even we can join each other on the New Year party. Windy: Hmmm, not with you Fluppy as I do not wish to spoil my party mood chatting with you. Fluppy: Cool for me, as I will have lots of other friends to join. Cliparti: Hey guys! Why don' we make a club of all our readers and plan for the next party together on the Internet. Windy: That's a brilliant idea. Let's do it as our readers can also join the fun this way.
