Sonia calls govt communal, scam-tainted

Congress President Sonia Gandhi said today that the “scam-tainted and communal” NDA government was “neck deep in corruption” and despite having a Prime Minister and a Deputy Prime Minister, it was unable to take action against those responsible for scams.

HP Cabinet okays new
norms

The Himachal Pradesh cabinet today approved new guidelines for the regularisation of unauthorised constructions in the nagar panchayats of
Dhalli, New Shimla and Totu and the creation of journalist welfare fund in the state. It also approved a youth policy.
