Mehar Academy, Kurali, outplayed Government High School,
Sector 26, 2-0 in the Ist Kanwar Harbans Lal Memorial Football
Tournament played here today at the Sector 17 Football Stadium. Both
the teams could not score till half time. It was Devinder Singh who
scored the first goal in 38th minute followed by Ajay Singh who struck
in 58th minute. Ajay Singh was also adjudged the man-of-the-match.

tourneyQuark Media House outplayed Strategic Marketing by nine
wickets in the inaugural tie of the CRY Cadence Corporate Cricket
Challenge Tournament which began here today at the Sector 16 Cricket
Stadium. Quark dominated in all departments of the game. Strategic
Marketing was bowled out for 77 runs. In reply, Quark players achieved
the target in 11th over losing only one wicket in the process. Sanjeev
Gupta was declared the man-of-the-match. The tournament is organised to
raise resources for the underprivileged children. Brief scores:

Championship played here at the Skating Rink, Sector 10, Sunil Dutt of
Chandigarh bagged gold medal in light weight Black Belt category.

Joshi, Krishna, Shubhant and Honey.

final of the men’s singles event on the opening day of the Inter-Media
Badminton Tournament played here today at the Panjab University
Gymnasium Hall. Semi-finals: Gautam b Rajinder Chawla 21-9, Ajay Bajaj
b Rajiv Raghunath 21-10.
