Clean chit to Mayor in Chandigarh Club episode

3 sustain burns in factory fire
Mohali, December 26
Three workers sustained severe burns in a fire that took place at a factory here last night. Two of the victims were taken to the PGI with over 70 per cent burns. The third, who was admitted to the General Hospital, Chandigarh, last night, was discharged this morning.

Bharatiya Janata Party councillors were today removed from the municipal corporation by marshals. They were protesting against challaning of its member, Mr Rajesh Gupta for violating “malba bylaws” at the year’s last meeting of the corporation here today.
