Woman killed, 10 injured in blast Baramula, December 26 Official sources said militants hurled a hand grenade towards security forces near a local branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank today. The grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside, causing on-the-spot death of a woman and injuries to 10 others. Six seriously wounded were shifted to a Srinagar hospital, the sources added. Jammu:
A Pakistani national and seven Bangladeshis were arrested close to the Indo-Pak border in Jammu and Kashmir today, official sources said here. The seven Bangladeshis, who travelled to Jammu via a train from Kolkata, were arrested by the Army near Londi Border Outpost along the International Border in Hiranagar sub-sector of Jammu frontier early this morning, the sources said. The Bangladesh nationals were trying to exfiltrate into Pakistan when they were arrested by the troops, the sources said. After being interrogated by the troops, they were handed over to police. In a separate incident, an elderly Pakistani national was arrested when he ignorantly walked into Indian territory from his border village near the international border in Mangu check area in Jammu early today. Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front vice-president Javid Ahmad Mir was today detained along with three other party activists from outside the Hazratbal shrine here. Official sources said Mir and his associates were detained when they raised anti-national slogans after offering Friday prayers at the shrine on the outskirts of the city.
