Bajrang Dal disrupts fashion show

Kota, Rajasthan, May 29
A fashion show to promote Kota Doria sarees was cancelled here today after Bajrang Dal activists ransacked the venue, the police said.

Over Bajrang Dal activists stormed the venue at the multi-purpose School at Sumanpura and damaged chairs, window panes and curtains.

The organisation had yesterday asked the organisers, a private company, not to hold the show saying it was against Indian traditions. The police has not registered any case so far. — UNI
