Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in west Rajasthan, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Bangana 4, Kangra and Nagrotasurian 3 each and Guler and Paonta 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 1, Punjab Nangal 2, East Rajasthan: Jhalawar 8, Chikliwas 5, Degana and Jamwa Ramgarh 4 each, Jayal, Merta and Srimadhopur 3 each, Beawar, Bhawanigarh colony, Didwana, Gogunda, Khevensar, Ramganjmandi, Shahpura and Urmilsagar 2
