Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh and Kashmir, Punjab and western Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Barsar and Kahu 5 each, Shimla 3, Berthin, Ghamroor, Nagrotasurian and Sundernagar 2 each and Guler, Jhandutta and Kandaghat 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Pahalgam and Quazigund 1 each, Punjab: Nangal and Nawanshahar 5 each and Kapurthala 2, Eastern Rajasthan: Kotkasim 11, Gangapur and Gangrar 7 each, Chittorgarh 6, Bijoliya, Bassidam, Begu, Mount Abu, Rashmi and Sheoganj 5 each, Atru, Badgaon, Bhopalsagar, Bhaisroadgarh, Chhotisadari, Kapasan, Matri Kundia, Navalgarh, Rawatbhata and Sarwar 4 each, Gambhiridam, Kesarpura, Orai and Sambhar 3 each, Banera, Bahadurpur, Mandal, Radia, sirohi and Udaipur City 2 each and Ajmer, Degana, Kothari, Ladnu, Rajakhera and Shahbad 1 each, West Rajasthan: Sangaria 5, Ahore, Balotra, Bhopalgarh, Godraroad, Rajgarh and Taranagar 2 each and Jalore 1, East Uttar Pradesh: Bansi 13, Kakrahi 12, Elginbridge 7, Ballia and Regoli 5 each, Shardanagar 4, Dalmau, Kanpur, Mukhlkishpur, Sultanpur and Turtipar 3 each, Bhinga, Balrampur, Chandradeepghat, Gonda and Khadda 2 each and Basti, Banda, Bhatpurwaghat, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Mirzapur and Varanasi A.P. 1 each, Western Uttar Pradesh: Narora 5, Etawah 2 and Auraiya and Mohana 1 each and Uttaranchal: Pantnagar 10, Uttarkashi 8, Dehradun and Joshimath 3 each and Banbasa and Rudraprayag 1 each.
