Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Karnal, Pehowa and Thanesar 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Barsar, Nagrota surain and Rampurbushahar 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 3, Punjab: Amritsar 2, east Uttar Pradesh: Bhinga 3, Chandradeepghat, Mukhlishpur, Rigoli, Shardanagar and Sultanpur 2 each and Bansi, Balrampur, Gonda, Kakrahi, Khadda and Neemsar 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly 3 and Moradabad and Narora 1 each and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 6 and Pantnagar 2. Forecast valid until the morning of July 14: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and east Rajasthan.
