NARCOTICS DESTROYED: The police on Wednesday destroyed narcotics including 1423 capsules, 2 kg poppy husk, 555 gm charas, 2 gm ghanza, 15 gm smack, 7 gm brown sugar and seven injections. A bonfire of seized narcotics was made in presence of senior Punjab Police officials, Mr Ram Singh, district police chief has said.

HOUSE BURGLED: Thieves broke into the house of Mr Sandeep Kumar at Friends Colony here on Tuesday night and decamped with same cash and jewellery. A case has been registered.

REVOLVER: The local Sadar police has found one .315-bore revolver along with 12 gm smack from Amanpreet Singh, a resident of Pakhoke village.
