Monsoon has been active in Punjab and East Rajasthan. Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Punjab and East Rajasthan, at many places in Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, West Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Nadaun and Una 2 each and Bangana, Ghamroor, Kahu, Pandoh and Sundernagar 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 3, Punjab: Ropar 4, Jallandhar, Ludhiana and Nawanshahar 3 each and Amritsar 2, East Rajasthan: Bagdora 9, Ghadola and Umedsagar 8 each, Chhotisadri and Kotri 7 each, Danpur, Galwania, Jhalrapatan, Kesharpura and Shahpura 6 each, Arnad, Aspur, Banswara, Deeg, Jhalawar, Kushalgarh, Shergarh and Udaipuur 5 each, Banera, Bundi, Badesar, Barisadri, Kapasan tank, Kekri and Pidawa 4 each, Beja, Bhungra, Chikli, Gneshpur, Gambhiridam, Kotri, Kota, Kalsisar, Pilani, Pratapgarh, Sujangarh and Vejan 3 each, Jawaja, Ladpura and Masoda 2 each and Atru, Nagarkot, Parbatsar, Sarwar and Thanagaji 1 each, West Rajasthan: churu and Taranagar 4 each and Rajgarh and Shardarshahar 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Banda and Turtipar 6 each, Varanasi A P 4, and Ayodhya, Chandradeepghat, Lucknow, Mukhlishpur, Mirzapur and Palliakalan 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly 5 each and Mohana 3 and Uttaranchal: Haripur 4, Pantnagar and Uttarkashi 3 each and Joshimath 1.
