Giving servants’ details to police
mandatory
Ludhiana, July 19
Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Anurag Verma today made it mandatory for residents, landlords and factory owners to submit details, along with photograph, of their migrant servants and employees at the nearest police station or police post.

Less than normal rainfall during the current kharif season has increased the irrigation demand for kharif crops like rice, cotton, maize and sugarcane.
