Ex-Miss India Nafisa Joseph dead

Mumbai, July 29
Former Miss India Nafisa Joseph died under mysterious circumstances in her flat in suburban Bandra tonight.

The exact cause of the death of the 25-year-old model-cum-VJ was not immediately known and her shell-shocked family members were not prepared to say anything.

The police also said the cause of her death could only be known after the post-mortem report was received.

Nafisa was crowned Femina Miss India Universe in 1997 in Mumbai when she was just 18 years old. She hailed from Bangalore. — UNI
