Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at many places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Punjab and west Rajasthan. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in
cm are: Himachal Pradesh Khairi 10, Dharamsala 9, Bangana 8, Bhunter 7, Kangra 6, Dhundhi and Solangnala 5 each, Mandi and Sujanpurtira 4 each, Bhang and Chauraha 3 each, Guler, Nagrotasurian and Sundernagar 2 each and Berthin, Dehragopipur, Nadaun and Pandoh 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Basoli 9, Jammu 6, Patti 3 and Banihal 1, Punjab: Ranjit Sagar Dam 6 and Shahpur Kandi 3, each, Agucha, Asind, Bhim, Jagpura, Khanpur, Masuda, Bhangrol, Neem ka thana and Patantank 2 each and Arwardam, Arnod, Banera, Bansur, Baran, Begu, Barisadari, Chikli, Chittaurgarh, Deval, Jahajpur, Jhalawar, Kekari, Mandal, Pratapgarh, Railmogra, Shergarh, Shahpura and Sawaimadhopur 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Shardanagar 11, Bhatpurwaghat 4 and Katerniaghat and Neemsar 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Moradabad 8, Gomatia 6, Kalpi 3 and Bareilly 1, and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 9, Rudraprayag 7, Mukteshwar 6, Tehri 5 and Dehra Dun 1.
