Physically challenged waits for
pension
Ludhiana, August 13
Mr Rakesh Kumar, a resident of
Anand Nagar, Haibowal Kalan, who is physically challenged, has been
awaiting the sanctioning of a monthly pension of Rs 200 for more than
a year even after the completion of all formalities regarding the
filling of forms and verification.

SAD activists will hold a meeting on August 19 at Alamgir Gurdwara to finalise the preparations for the Parkash Utsav of Guru Granth Sahib being organised in Amritsar on August 30,31 and September 1. The meeting will be presided over by the SAD President, Mr Parkash Singh Badal.
