Pak test-fires Ghauri Hatf V missile

Islamabad, October 12
Pakistan today successfully test-fired medium range surface-to-surface Ghauri Missile Hatf V capable of carrying nuclear warheads up to 1500 km.

The missile test comes even as India and Pakistan are engaged in a composite dialogue process on various contentious issues.

“Pakistan this morning carried out another successful test of the indigenously-produced intermediate range ballistic missile Hatf V (Ghauri) in the presence of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz,” a military statement said. — UNI
